Lauryl in Indonesia - The tsunami that struck Indonesia in December 2004 wrenched the hearts of people all over the world, but now many of the relief agencies have turned to new problems and have left. Fortunately, Lutheran World Relief and LCMS World Missions continue to partner with the protestant Christian churches of Indonesia to help rebuild the infrastructure of the community. An MMT team (including Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Lauryl) set up clinics for care with the extremely underserved poor on the island of Sumatra.
